Abstract

Adaptive memory is an insufficiently researched field, especially among children at primary school. The complexity of this issue is evidence of many studies that focus on adaptive memory and compare it within particular groups of people. This paper focuses on the influence of adaptive memory of pupils between the ages of 12 and 14. We researched the influence of adaptive memory on knowledge and emotions of pupils towards selected animals. The research was conducted in the academic year 2015/2016. This study presents the influence of adaptive memory on cognitive and emotional behaviour of pupils. It is important to focus on the mechanism of memory that influences pupils’ perception
