Abstract

We dedicated this issue of Envigogika to compiling a collection of writings, which we presented to Bedřich Moldan at his 90^(th) birthday celebrations on 9 September this year. The congratulatory messages from Bedřich's friends and colleagues offer a glimpse into the recent and distant past, and are supplemented by the educational reform principles that Bedřich outlined in 1998 after attending a major UNESCO conference on the role of education for sustainability in Thessaloniki, Greece. These writings were previously published in the 2010 anthology Hluboká ekologická stopa (Deep Ecological Footprint), and we are now pleased to present this follow-up.
