An interesting debate has evolved among the protagonists in connection with the development of the Position on the Vision 2020. It concerns two ranges of issues: firstly, it tries to find the answer to what the (academic) community in the areas of EE and ESD is. Then, it discusses the role and importance of NGOs in environmental education.
