About the 8th International Student Essay Contest on Sustainable Lifestyle 20 Years After Fall Iron Curtain

Geografický ústav Slovenskej akadémie vied v spolupráci s partnerskými organizáciami (Slovenská geografická spoločnosť pri SAV, Spoločnosť pre trvalo udržateľný život v SR a ČR, Regionálne environmentálne centrum Slovensko a Česká a Slovenská asociácia Rímskeho klubu) zorganizoval 28. októbra 2009 v Malom kongresovom centre SAV v Bratislave slávnostné vyhlásenie výsledkov súťaže študentských esejí na tému Udržateľný spôsob života za rok 2009. Hlavnou témou tohto, už 8. ročníka súťaže, bol náš život, jeho kvalita a udržateľnosť 20 rokov po páde železnej opony a pripomenutie si štyroch desaťročí od chvíle, kedy o životnom prostredí rokovalo Valné zhromaždenie OSN.
