Človek často putuje za krajinami vzdialenými, exotickými, od ktorých čaká, že ukoja jeho smäd po nových neošúchaných vnemoch, farbách, tónoch či tvaroch. Najskôr sme uchvátení, chceme vidieť a poznať čo najviac. Hľadáme čosi, čo nás vytrhne z otupenosti, zisťujeme, že to nenachádzame, vnemov je stále viac a hlbokých mystických zážitkov z krajiny a v krajine stále menej. Krajina nám je cudzia.
