Submissions
Submission Preparation Checklist
All submissions must meet the following requirements.
- At least two potential reviewers have been suggested by the author(s) in Comments to the Editor.
- The submission has not been previously published, nor is it in another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
- In no phase of the research and publication process existed a conflict of interest and all co-authors agree with the submitted form and content of the text.
- The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal.
Reviewed Papers
These are original submissions that comply with the journal's mission and its strict professional requirements - compliance is assessed based on independent reviews under a review procedure that adheres to the journal rules (see Review Procedure). This section contains papers that are of crucial importance to the field of environmental/sustainable development education and/or present original research results. However, papers that are not intended for the review procedure to assess their quality and professional contribution can be published in other sections, too.Inspirations
Essays, reflections, deliberations, and other contributions.This section is intended for more open forms of contribution, but which are nevertheless considered sources of new perspectives, attitudes, and practical ideas – innovations in the field environmental/sustainable development education. A wide range of other media could be used in this section.
Information
Practice-driven articles and comments - experience, good practice, commentaries on events and documents, etc.Methodologies
Text under the Methodologies section include original research results and practical application of these results as universally applicable methods (in the Czech Republic they are certified by the relevant state administrative body. These texts are reviewed by at least two independent reviewers.
Case studies
Case studies are expert texts which describe real situations and provide analyis using mainly qualitative methods of inquiry. The case studies are appraised in an independent review process.
Reviews
Basic information and reviews of books, essays and articles in other periodicals, and also reflection on Envigogika articles. The reviews introduce new ideas into the discipline, analyse them from a professional perspective, and critique or discuss various topics.Letters and Opinion
Quality submissions responding chiefly to the journal content. In this section, current events and political, cultural etc. issues can be discussed.Copyright Notice
This is an open access journal which means that all content is freely available without charge to the user or his/her institution. Users are allowed to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of the articles in this journal without asking prior permission from the publisher or the author. This is in accordance with the BOAI definition of open access. This journal is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 License - http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0
The publication of DTK is carried out in accordance with Czech law, in particular the Press Act No. 46/2000 Coll., the Copyright Act No. 121/2000 Coll., and the laws of the European Union. In accordance with the relevant provisions of Act No. 121/2000 Coll., the Copyright Act, as amended, the rights to published texts are always held by their author. The journal has only the right to use the text in the sense of its distribution through its printed and electronic form, in accordance with the provisions of Article 12(4)(b) of the Copyright Act.
Authors who publish with the Envigogika agree to the following terms:
- Authors retain copyright and grant the journal right of first publication with the work simultaneously licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution License that allows others to share the work with an acknowledgement of the work's authorship and initial publication in this journal.
- Authors are able to enter into separate, additional contractual arrangements for the non-exclusive distribution of the journal's published version of the work (e.g., post it to an institutional repository or publish it in a book), with an acknowledgement of its initial publication in this journal.
